Formed early 2010 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan by Zachariah M. Gordon. Agony Spawn is a Metal band with plenty of groove, that maintains an old-school Death Metal feel, with thrash elements. While remaining highly original and innovative, Agony Spawn is influenced by a number of groups, including Death, Carcass, Dying Fetus, Gojira and Lamb of God. Going through a few line-up changes along the way to finding their sound, they have turned into one of Saskatoon's most extreme Metal acts, and proving it with noticeable, severe and shocking studies in to the riff and its direct relationship with unfathomable brutality and moral dissonance. With unholy vocals combining with the punishing guitars, ever technical bass lines, and solid yet creative and always brutal drumming, this band forms a toxic and heady brew of a Metal they like to call trend free.
